HYPR

Next-generation autonomous mobility company
HYPR is a next-generation autonomous mobility company using reinforcement learning to create vehicles that teach themselves to drive.
Tim Kentley Klay, cofounder of the $1.3B Amazon-acquired Zoox, announces a new venture in autonomous mobility: HYPR. The vision is to build truly intelligent robotic systems – ones that can learn in real-time, in-situ. This technology will enable autonomous mobility to scale with efficiency, safety, and superior performance to make the planet better than it was before. Operating at the intersection of AI, robotics, and experiences, HYPR uses reinforcement learning – a software paradigm in which AI uses a reward-based system to dynamically improve algorithms in the environment – without human-in-the-loop instruction or supervision.
